Hi, I'm Mateo and I'm an artisan who repurposes broken, damaged, or old items into something beautiful for you.
My pieces are designed to be a token of inspiration for you to be encouraged to embrace the fullness of your 'life story'.
It is my wish for you that you make your life an expression of a 'masterpiece of grace' because you are important, your story matters, and you are worth it!

Sadly, my joy soon became shattered with profound sorrow. Due to unforeseen and extremely challenging health circumstances, my perfect little baby sibling was miscarried and I nearly lost my mom. The tragedy of this time in my life is beyond what words can say. The heartbreak of the loss of our baby has been the greatest devastation of my life.
After we buried our baby, Angelina Grace Rose, we started the long and painful journey toward healing. But God does indeed heal what He allows.
Along the way, I learned about the beautiful traditional Japanese Art of Kintsugi and how it can be a metaphor for the broken parts of our lives. When my economics homeschooling class project included launching a business, Masterpiece of Grace was born. I decided I wanted to transform my pain and use my hands to heal my heart by making 'masterpieces of inspiration'.
My company name was intentionally chosen. I chose Grace in remembrance of my baby sister, and Masterpiece to honor the healing journey and transformation of my pain.
We each have our own story and our stories do matter. We are all called with loving intention, by the very nature of our God-given life, to express and experience the fullness of who we are created to be.
Grace transforms the broken pieces of our lives into something beautiful. Consider any 'broken' part of your life, and rather than discard it, allow grace to reshape, repurpose, and restore it, making you stronger, more radiant, and uniquely beautiful.
